ODD DUCK RETURNS IN SPRING OF 2014!! The Odd Duck Handmade Bazaar will return, by popular request, in the spring of 2014. This event, usually held the last Saturday of March, will include a wide variety of arts, crafts, and oddities. With bountiful shopping, goodie bags, an informative zine (mini-magazine), free parking, DIY, music, and delicious gourmet foods, it's hard to beat the $5 admission price. Stay tuned for more information! ODD DUCK THRIVES THROUGH UPS AND DOWNS! The Duck is ecstatic over the tremendous support in our indie community and can't wait to fluff it's feathers more. Despite many challenges, this one-of-a-kind craft show aims to keep interesting creations as the primary focus. Odd Duck's of past could not have been this successful without our talented vendors and loving attendees! However, a huge thanks goes out to our wonderful top naming sponsors which have included Whole Foods Plantation and most currently the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency. These top-notch organizations make it possible for local artists and crafters to share their amazing work with thousands of people in a face-to-face environment. THE HOLLYWOOD CRAFT MAFIA NO MORE The Hollywood Craft Mafia began as a small group of women, joining forces to promote handmades in South Florida. HCM was a sister group to a national organization which began in Austin, Texas. Although the group has benefited many local citizens with workshops, small events, and the ever popular Odd Duck Bazaar, HCM has seen it's share of challenges. It is with pride that Christine Klein and Shelley Mitchell have decided to maximize resources and slim the craft production process by closing the Hollywood Craft Mafia virtual doors. This decision allows the team to focus energy on the most requested event, the Odd Duck Handmade Bazaar.
